MANAGE TRACKING NUMBERS

A new feature has been added to OpenRDA’s Fixed Assets module that will allow tracking numbers to be managed. When tracking numbers are managed, adding/creating a new tracking master will automatically assign the next available number to that master. To use this feature, the setup variable for this must be turned on in Setup –> Generic Setup Variables. Then tracking numbers must be created; when creating tracking numbers, the starting number (entered in From field) should be the number after the last one that was manually assigned. In the To field, enter the highest number.??If the starting and ending number are the same digits (for example, 2500 to 5000), do not turn on the zero fill.
