Reported Hours

The state of Virginia has a new requirement effective January 1, 2020 for all hourly paid staff that will apply to ALL workers effective July 1, 2020. Employers must be able to provide an employee a written statement “that shows the name and address of the employer, the number of hours worked during the pay period, the rate of pay, the gross wages earned by the employee during the pay period, and the amount and purpose of any deductions therefrom.”

RDA has created two new reports to help our customers provide this information.


  • Set Reported Hours- Allows you to enter in set default hours for Salaried Employees. And Actual Units for Hourly Employees.
  • Reported Hours Statement –Shows the reported hours and earnings that can be sent to an employee upon request
