FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT TASK BAR: CHECK CONTROLS

To emphasize the importance of running the Check Controls report each month, it has been added to Financial Management’s taskbar in OpenRDA (below Post Activity). This report tests the relationship (agreement) between subsidiary accounts and the corresponding G/L control accounts. This report can also be accessed from Reports (Month End and Auditor). Please note that it is normal to receive fund warnings relative to Encumbrances if using balance sheet purchase orders (e.g., for inventory items).
