To make it easier to gather payroll jobs into the Budget Prep module, a field has been created in Payroll’s job file as well as in Budget Prep’s job file named INCLUDE FOR BUDGETING. Normally, only jobs that need to be budgeted by employee or for contract generation are gathered into Budget Prep. Depending on the organization’s setup in relation to position identifications, gross identifications, pay groups, etc., this often meant that the gather jobs process had to be run multiple times with different range criteria. The Gather Jobs report process will now include this new field as a selection option.
