Leah Hollingshead’s Role and Journey at RDA Systems

How long have you worked for RDA Systems?
I’ve worked for RDA Systems for approximately 10 years.

What made you interested in working for RDA Systems?
I was interested in working locally and had a lot of experience in this type of work. Once I got to know the team, I realized that the people here are what make this company special. Everyone here cares so much about their fellow teammates and the clients we serve!

What is your role at RDA Systems?
As a Customer Care Specialist, my job is to help our clients be successful with our software. When clients have questions or issues, they submit a help desk ticket, and I research the problem to help resolve it. I’m also a subject matter expert, so I assist other Customer Care Specialists when they need help, and I work on development testing, training, and other projects.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy helping others. I use my knowledge and experience to help clients with issues and provide advice and best business practices to help them work more efficiently. Our clients are great to work with, and I enjoy helping them!

How do you feel your role contributes to RDA Systems’ mission and vision?
One of RDA Systems’ missions is to serve people, and that is my main purpose here. I understand the important role of serving our clients and making sure they receive the highest level of customer service.

What are your unique strengths that allow you to fulfill your role as well as you do?
I have many years of experience in customer service and payroll. I’m also a certified payroll professional, which gives me the knowledge to help customers understand the processes and suggest improvements.

How do you plan to grow in your role?
With the current changes in Customer Care, we are cross-training more. This will allow me to assist customers in other areas of RDA Systems. As a subject matter expert, I’m also helping other team members, which further broadens my knowledge.

Personal Insights About Leah Hollingshead

What are your favorite hobbies?
I like to spend time doing fun things with my husband and going places. I enjoy going out with friends, being outside when it’s nice, running on my treadmill, playing guitar, and spending time with my dogs, Sox and Zoey.

What motivates you?
I think it depends on the circumstances, but I consider myself a do-er. When I see something that needs to be accomplished, I like to jump in and help get it done! I love crossing things off my list!

What’s something you are planning on doing in the next year that you’ve never done before?
I want to learn country line dancing!
