Established in 1982, the American Payroll Association (APA) is the nation’s leader in payroll education, publications, and training. The APA also administers two levels of certification a payroll professional can achieve – Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) and Certified Payroll Professional (CPP). Holding one of these distinguishes yourself among your peers that you have extensive knowledge and experience within the payroll industry.
