RDA Family Spotlight: Lynda Greene
Lynda is a former systems analyst with the Dept. of Education, with many years of experience helping various customers with payroll and accounting issues in school districts across Georgia. Lynda enjoys meeting new people, seeing new places, and creating new memories.
As part of our RDA Family Spotlight series, we asked Lynda a few questions in order for you to get to know her a little better.
Tell us a little bit about your family.
I have the most wonderful husband, three beautiful daughters, and four adorable granddaughters. I’m very proud of them all.
What is your role at RDA?
My primary role is to support our customers. I take help calls from customers and assist them with determining the best solutions for their issues. I also do software trainings, program testing, new implementations, and various other duties as assigned.
If you could switch your job with anyone else within RDA, whose job would you want?
No one, I already have the best job in the company.
What is your favorite line from a movie?
“He’s only mostly dead.” The Princess Bride. Besides being hilarious, it is also hopeful.
Best vacation you’ve been to?
I haven’t been to the best one, yet. Every vacation I take is better than the last. I love to travel and see new things.
Are you messy or organized?
I say that I’m organized but everyone else says that I’m messy.
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?
Gal Gadot from Wonder Woman. Of course, she’s nothing like me but what woman wouldn’t want Gal to play her in a movie?
If you could change one thing about working here, what would it be?
Nothing, I have a lot of support. I get time off when I need it. I’m able to work from home. Customers are very appreciative for my help. Maybe, I would hire an operator to answer the phones.
What is your least favorite food?
Lima Beans are awful. I don’t understand how anyone could like them. Even when they are hidden in soup or casserole, I pick them out. My husband loves them.
Which one would you want most – flying cars, robot housekeepers, or moon cities?
Housekeepers, of course! I need my toilet cleaned a lot more often than I would want to visit the moon. Flying cars would be fun, but it doesn’t trump a clean kitchen.
What advice do you have for prospective RDA candidates?
Anyone interested in working at RDA must have a willingness to learn and a drive to help others.
