Join IRS on Thunderclap to Promote a National “Paycheck Checkup”


The IRS invites the payroll community to join @IRSnews to support an IRS Thunderclap campaign promoting a national “Paycheck Checkup.”

Following major tax law changes, the IRS is urging all taxpayers to check their tax withholding to ensure they have the right amount of tax taken out of their paychecks. Too little withheld could mean a tax bill or penalty. And with the average refund topping $2,800, some may prefer to get more money in their pay now.

Thunderclap is a social media platform that will automatically post a message to participants’ Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr accounts to support an initiative. To sign up for the Paycheck Checkup Thunderclap:

  1. Follow this link: http://thndr.me/7BvGKI

  2. Select “Support with: Facebook | Twitter | Tumblr.” (Choose one, then repeat the process to select more platforms or a second account.)

  3. Authorize Thunderclap to post this one-time message by clicking the “Add My Support” tab, and following the prompts to input username and password.

  4. On Thursday, March 29, at 2 p.m. EST, Thunderclap will automatically post: “IRS urges you to perform a Paycheck Checkup today to make sure your tax withholding is right for you. http://thndr.me/TRRWef” to all participating social media accounts. The link goes to the recently updated IRS Withholding Calculator.

This Thunderclap effort is part of a broader IRS “Paycheck Checkup” campaign to encourage people to review their tax withholding. The IRS appreciates your assistance and continued partnership.

Customer service is one of our top priorities at RDA Systems. We strive to not only provide excellent customer service, but also complete each request in the most efficient way possible.

We compile data so that we can see our strengths and weaknesses and work to provide the best support possible. Below is an outline of our average customer support numbers for 2017 and first month of 2018.

 

Efficiency

From the time that a help desk ticket was submitted:

The first call back to a customer was 50 minutes

57% of the tickets were solved within the first two hours of being submitted

62% of the tickets were solved on either the first or second contact with the customer

The average time it took to complete a ticket was 4 hours after being submitted

Sherri Melton Joins the RDA Team

Sherrie Melton joins RDA

Greetings! I am very excited to announce that Sherri Melton joined the RDA team on October 2.

Sherri is a great fit with RDA culture. She will take the lead in developing local government and K12 business in the state of Georgia. A longtime Statesboro resident, Sherri will work from her home office there.

Sherri has been serving the Georgia local government space for the last 12 years. Sherri’s hire further signifies RDA’s commitment to serving Georgia’s local/municipal governments and K12 school districts.
